The augmented reality and virtual reality spaces continue to progress. We are working with some great new AR and VR headsets including the Meta Quest 3 by Oculus and the Apple Vision Pro. If you didn't get a chance to try the Meta Quest 3 or other new hardware or games under development at the last Indie Games Expo, be sure to stop by our next annual comic-con video games event at the Denver Fan Expo 2023 in downtown Denver. We presented the first panels on video games and VR, gave demos of video game projects being developed, and hosted the first fan expo video game tournaments at the Denver Fan Expo event. We also host a comic-con Denver Fan Expo video games party every year with Denver video game tournaments and Colorado game developers. Our focus remains eSports and VR game development and we continue to host or contribute to the best Denver gaming events and Colorado eSports tournaments annually. Try some of the best 2022 indie games, the latest gaming and VR hardware, tabletop games and more at the 2022 Indie Games Expo events. Game and VR developers often show off their latest projects currently in development. Some are not yet available to the general public. Many like to come out to see them and network with each other. For example, Steam Deck is finally making its way to the hands of the general public and we couldn't be more excited here at Indie Games Expo. Those who expressed interest as press should have already received their unit, others will be getting theirs once pre-orders start shipping around February 28th. Sporting different storage sizes largely contributing to the price of the Steam Deck, the hardware should be tailored to fit any budget. Steam Deck works with games released on Steam right out of the box. However, if the game is not optimized for portable play or doesn't support the Steam controller, you may get mixed results. Each game will have a rating that dictates its compatibility. Be sure to play games marked as VERIFIED (confirmed by valve to work) or PLAYABLE (can work but may require manual configuration). For those not able to get a Steam Deck yet or would like to try one first, be sure to stop by a 2022 Indie Games Expo event. Play some of the best 2018 indie games or get feedback on your Indie eSports games, board games, video games, virtual reality games, art, music etc. PC games, console games, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Playstation VR (PSVR), Gear VR, Microsoft HoloLens, and others have been popular in the past. Also play some of the best 2017 indie games on the latest video game hardware including XBox One X, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and more.
