Join us for the annual Denver Summer Chillfest Colorado Video Games BBQ: Speedrunners Edition May 16th, 2026 from 11:00am to 6:00pm at the southwest corner of the park. Celebrating over 25 years, stop by and discuss games, development, speedrunning and more primarily with gaming enthusiasts, Denver game developers, Colorado video game studios, Denver eSports players, Colorado indie game developers, virtual reality developers and others from the mountain states region. This is a popular annual event and we often have gaming guests attending from out of town. The RPG Limit Break folks will be in town for the big speedrun event specializing in speedrunning classic to modern RPGs. Be sure and bring your portable gaming devices to this one. Steamdeck, nintendo switch, nintendo switch 2 and other handhelds are pretty common. Celebrate gaming with us at this unique Denver Video Games BBQ we hold each year with discussion, ladderball, volleyball, frisbee, BBQ, music, etc. Listen to the latest mix from DJ WayneRAD, check out new drones, LARP or play washers. Bring anything you want to eat or drink including food to cook on the grill. Many of us share. All game developers, gaming enthusiasts, and game companies are invited.
